"Frozen" is a 2013 American animated musical fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. The film tells the story of a brave princess, Anna, who embarks on a journey to find her estranged sister, Elsa, whose magical powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in an eternal winter. In the end, Anna sacrifices herself to save Elsa and the kingdom, and her act of true love melts her frozen heart and saves her from death. Elsa learns to control her powers and returns to Arendelle, bringing back summer and restoring peace to the kingdom.
The movie has a strong emphasis on the bond of sisterhood, the importance of family and the theme of embracing one's true self. It was a commercial success and won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
